Chinese Okra with Dried Prawns and Garlic

Peel Chinese okra. Cut length-wise into half, and each half into two. Remove the pitch and seeds. Cut each of the 4 lengths into 3 parts.
Chop spring onion into lengths. Peel garlic. Soak dried prawns until soft.
Heat 2 tablespoons shallot oil and sauté spring onions, garlic and dried prawns until fragrant and the garlic turns golden brown. Add in Chinese okra and Seasoning. Lower heat and cook until the sauce is reduced to 1/3.
Thicken slightly with about 1 tablespoon of corn flour solution. Stir well, dish up and serve.
