Pearl Bean Pork Ribs Soup

300g pearl beans
450g pork ribs (cooked in boiling water)
15 red dates (seed removed)
100g carrot (cut) 1800ml water
Seasoning :
A pinch of salt
Method :
Add the water into the pot and boil the water.
Add in the pork ribs and red dates. Cook for 35 minutes.
Add in the carrots and pearl beans. Cook for another 30 minutes
Lastly add in the seasoning.
Cooking Tips :
Pearl beans can be purchased at supermarkets and markets. Pearl beans are rich in vitamins and taste just as good when cooked with there tier meat and roast pork.
Cooking the pork ribs in boiling water first can clear the pork ribs of blood, marking the soup cooked clearer.
Adding the pearl bean only after the pork ribs is soft will ensure that the beans are not overcooked.
