Cantonese Recipes : Steamed Pork Strips in Glutinous-rice Flour
Ingredients :
500g lean pork (cut into 1cm thick strips)
1 stalk spring onion (use white part only; chop finely)
1 slice ginger (finely chopped)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine
60g glutinous-rice flour
Method :
Mix together the spring onion, ginger, soy sauce and rice wine.
Mix in pork strips and keep aside, 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with glutinous-rice flour and mix lightly.
Steam in a heatproof dish for 11/2 hours, over low heat, turning over at 20 minutes intervals. (if pork become dry, combine a few drops soy sauce, rice wine and water and sprinkle over.)
