Sweet Spicy Sauce Crabs

Serves : 4

Ingredients :

2kg crabs
3cm knob ginger, shredded
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
5 bird's eye chilies, chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 small egg, lightly beaten
200ml water

Sauce Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
8 tablespoons tomato sauce
5 tablespoons chili sauce
4 tablespoons lime juice
2-3 tablespoons sugar or to taste
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Method :

Clean crabs and cut into 4 pieces
Heat oil and sesame oil in a wok and sauté garlic, ginger, shallots and bird's eye chilies until fragrant.
Add sauce ingredients and put in the crabs. Toss well. Pour in the water and cover the wok.
When water boils, remove the cover and stir-fry until crabs are cooked.
Add in beaten egg and toss until sauce is thick.
