Steamed Crab in Beer
Ingredients
2 crabs (600g)
1 cup beer
¼ cup stock
1 egg
1 bay leaf
Chinese parsley
Seasoning
¼ teaspoon salt
1/6 teaspoon granulated sugar
Method for Cooking Steamed Crab in Beer:
Cut open crabs. Rub and wash. Open carapaces and remove dirt. Cut into big serving pieces. Pat claws. Drain well. set aside.
Whisk egg, add beer, stock and seasoning. Mix well. transfer to a glass dish. put in crab pieces and washed bay leaf.
Bring water to the boil. Put in glass dis. Steam for 12 minutes. Add Chinese parsley and steam for ½ more minute. Serve while hot.
