Squids with Chillies

Serves : 6

Ingredients :

200g vegetarian squids
20g roasted peanuts cloud ear fungus (soaked and sliced)
10 slices capsicum
6 slices tomato

Seasoning :
1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
10 whole dry red chillies (sliced)

*Vegetarian Squid - Available at vegetarian specialty stores. Made from flour and seasoning. Steamed and cut to desired sizes to suit individual cooking needs.

Method :

Fried chillies till fragrant and colour changes. Dish up and keep aside.
Heat up oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add vegetarian squids and stir-fry. Then add in cloud ear fungus, capsicum and tomatoes.
Add seasoning and stir evenly. Before serving, add peanuts and fried chillies onto dish and mix well.

Remarks : this dish is fragrant, spicy, crispy, sweet and sour, all in one. Suitable to serve with rice for those who love spicy food.
