Microwave Recipe : Claypot Chicken Wings


Serve : 6
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 11 minutes
Standing time : 5 minutes


Ingredients :

7 chicken wings, 300g
150g kale stems
50g carrot

(A)
80g young ginger, chopped finely
10g garlic, chopped finely
11/2 tablespoons oil

(B)
11/2 teaspoons wine
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornflour
1/4 cup chicken stock

 

  1. Wash chicken wings. Holding knife at an angle to the stem, cut kale stems into 3cm lengths, about 1/2 cm thick. Slice carrot thinly.

  1. Combine ingredients A in a 2 litre claypot and microwave on power HIGH for 4 minutes, uncovered.
  2. Add chicken wings and combined ingredients B. cover and microwave on power HIGH for 6 minutes.
  3. Add carrot slices and kale stems. Cover and microwave on power HIGH for 11/2 minutes.
  4. Let the claypot STAND for 5 minutes before serving.
