Spicy Fried Prawns

1/2 kg prawns
3 tablespoons ground chilli
4 cloves red onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon oysters sauce
salt to taste
sugar to taste
1 teaspoon lime juice
cooking oil
Paste (blended finely) :
2 coriander roots, chopped coarsely
Pinch of salt
3 cloves garlic, peeled
2 tablespoons finely grated ginger
10 white peppercorns
Method :
Clean prawns and marinate with salt for 15 minutes. Blend onions and garlic, mix with ground chili.
Heat oil and fry prawns until half cooked. Dish up and place a side. Drain the existing oil, fry lime, salt, sugar and oyster sauce.
Add water and stir until combined. Boil and add prawns.
Simmer until gravy thickens, dish up and serve.
