Spicy Pomfret

Serve : 4
Cooking time : 45 minutes

Ingredients :

1 pomfret
1 packet curry powder
1/2 coconut
1 tablespoon ground dried chillies
2 cloves red onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cm ginger
4 curry leaves
star anise and cinnamon stick
cardamom
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoonfine salt
1 large onion
2 potatoes
2 tomatoes
20g tamarind paste
cooking oil

Method :

Clean fish. Sliced ginger, red onion and garlic finely.
Slice large onion. Cut potatoes and tomatoes cut into two. Heat oil, fry curry powder, cinnamon, star anise. Fry onions until golden brown.
Then add ground chillies, curry powder, tamarind juice, coconut milk and boil. Put fish, pepper and grated coconut.
Stir until the gravy thickens and cooked. Dish up and serve.
