Agar Agar with Coconut Milk in Ice

 

Ingredients

  • 10 agar agar shreds
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate seed
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/6 teaspoon salt
  • A pinch of crushed ice
  • A few drops of edible colouring
 

Method for Cooking Agar Agar with Coconut Milk in Ice:

  1. Soak agar agar well. cut into sections. Parboil in 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of sugar until dissolved. Add edible colouring. Fold into a flat plate. Refrigerate and shred.

  2. Put pomegranate seed into boiling water. Parboil until tender. Dish up. Rinse in cold boiled water. Set aside.

  3. Bring coconut milk, salt and sugar to the boil over low heat. Allow to cool.

  4. Put agar agar shreds in 2 glasses. Then add pomegranate seed and crushed ice. Pour in coconut milk. Serve.
