Steamed Crab in Young Coconut

 

Ingredients

  • 1 crab (450g)
  • 1 young coconut
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup young coconut juice

Seasoning

  • Fish gravy
 

Method for Cooking Steamed Crab in Young Coconut:

  1. Rub and wash crab. Cut open and chop up. Open carapace and remove dirt. Put crab in a big bowl.

  2. Cut open young coconut milk. Pour out juice. If juice is less than 1 cup, supplement with water to stock. Scoop out coconut flesh. Put juice and flesh into (1). Add washed bay leaf. Steam for 20 minutes. Add seasoning and serve.
